What is the story behind the company?
We are a family owned business with 3 young boys. Over the years, we struggled to find quality baby 
products that look great, feel great, and that are safe and healthy choices for our kids. Two of our three boys are twins and both suffer from eczema so skin care and comfort for them has become our personal mission. The name of our brand is actually a combination of the twin’s names!
Every product that we develop has been extensively used personally at home with our own children. We design, test and package all of our products right here in the USA for maximum comfort for your little ones and ours. Never hesitate to contact us with questions or suggestions!
How do I care for my towel?
Our towels do not wrinkle and they do not require any fabric softeners. Please do not bleach as this can damage the natural bamboo fibers. We recommend machine wash on gentle cycle with like colors using cold to warm water. It is best to tumble dry with low heat.
Bamboo fibers can naturally develop small pulls or strings on occasion. It is best to simply cut these off rather than pull them.
How big are your towels?
This was a big deal for us. We were tired of towels that were too small for our growing boys. Our premium bamboo hooded towels are all a very large 40″x28″. We moved the hood from the corner of the towel (like others do) to the center of the long side. This allows you to fully wrap your child in the towel for the quickest comfort and warmth. We designed this towel right here in the USA for maximum comfort for your little ones and for ours.
Can you tell me more about bamboo fabric?
Bamboo has been considered a miracle plant because it is a highly renewable resource. Because it is so naturally fast growing there is no need for the use of chemicals such as pesticides and fungicides. This makes the growth of bamboo generally more eco friendly than many other crops and great to use for fabric. The fabric is silky soft and highly absorbent, wicking away moisture more effectively than traditional cotton.
In fabrics, rayon and viscose are actually very closely related and often used interchangeably when commenting on various textiles. We actually use a type called “Modal” . Modal is a second generation regenerated cellulosic fiber and a variation of rayon. Modal’s distinguishing characteristics are its high-wet strength and extra softness. It is sometimes referred to “as soft as a feather” and “the softest fiber in the world.”
Due to its high-wet strength, modal can be machine washed and tumble dried. Modal fibers are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or get pulled out of shape when wet like many rayons. They are also wear resistant and strong while maintaining a soft, silky feel. Modal is about 50-60% more hygroscopic, or water-absorbent, per unit volume than cotton. Even after repeated washing, modal remains absorbent, soft and supple.
Graying, as with 100% cotton textiles, does not occur. Bleaches or whiteners may not be necessary at all. The smooth surface characteristics of the modal fiber make it impossible for mineral deposits from water, such as lime scum, to be deposited on the textiles thus preventing fabric hardening after repeated washings. This “dry rigidity” in some other fabrics is caused by the mineral incrustation on the fiber after repeated washing and can wreak havoc on our little one’s sensitive skin.
